Sea Wolf Sailing Crews

Here's what we're looking for;

Ship Crews

All Crew members should have a basic, period appropriate garb kit and a working knowledge of the ships functionality, history, and life aboard

Hired specialists like captains will be issued certain items.

Rescue Boat Crews

SWV would like to have a motor driven chase/ rescue boat for emergencies, piloted by those with some rescue boat training. These boats can also be built by us, or restored by the many professionals working on the builds.

Boat owners and captains who wish to lend their vessels and/ or skills to this are welcome.

Steersmen/ Skippers

This job will fall to those with captains licenses with sailing endorsements or equivalent, and eventually at least a six-pack to be able to charter paying customers. Voyages will start in the Salish Sea. Puget sound and the connecting lakes and rivers, as well as lakes and rivers where hauling the boats via trailer is needed and possible.

When the first fully seaworthy vessel is built and we want to start doing near coastal voyages between Vancouver BC, northern California, and all points in between. Captains with a Masters license will be required.

By then we should be able to hire captains for individual voyages, and be able to ask them back when needed until we are ready to hire one per boat full time.

Holumenn - Rowing crew

There will be some physical requirements for this crew, as this is sustained hard work.

Everyone, even guests, will have the chance to row when legally possible.

Full time Sea Wolf Crews will be required to hold at least a boat handlers card and Aquatic 1st Aid/ CPR training. Part of the funding received should be used to help new crew members get set up with those. These are easy to get and free, to earn, and $10 to have the card sent to you.

Boat handlers cards can be obtained through BoatEd:
